1. What is Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH)?
MAH is a non-governmental, non-profit trade association exclusively devoted to promoting and defending the interests of our member hotels throughout Malaysia.
2. Who are MAH’s members?
We have “ordinary members”, which include hotels, resorts, service apartments, villas etc. Our “associate members” include hotel industry affliates, suppliers, colleges and companies that are related to the hotel, travel and tourism industry.
3. How does MAH operate?
The MAH Secretariat operates on a non-profit basis with a team led by the Executive Director. It is governed by the MAH Board, which consists of 25 members including state chapter chairmen.
4. What is MAHTEC?
MAHTEC, also known as Malaysian Association of Hotels Training and Education Centre is MAH’s training arm. It is committed to human resource development in the hotel industry. MAHTEC has a range of training programs and workshops designed exclusively for the industry.
5. How do I get a list of MAH member hotels?
You may secure a regularly updated directory of MAH member hotels through the Secretariat at a small cost. Please contact the Secretariat for your copy.
6. How do I book a hotel through the MAH website?
Simply click on the button “Quick Reservation” and it will take you through a process of selecting which location, hotel, availability, etc. All reservations will be confirmed based on real time availability. Credit card details may be required to complete the transaction by the hotels from time to time. All payments will be made directly to the hotel upon departure.
